Entry 4

What I read about today was about the Birmingham Barons playing the Houston Clowns. Piper, one of the players on the Barons didn’t like the clowns because they were messing around and he thought it made it look like the Negro leagues were a joke. That made the Barons play harder, than a guy from the white clowns had a pistol and asked the Barons if they wanted to play against the white clowns. The Barons grabbed everything and ran to the bus and left. They were off to Memphis, Tennessee. During the night some of the players went to a jazz club and then the players that went to the club came back the whole team went to a diner. After that they went to a white restaurant snuck in and got some drinks.
