Entry 9

The Barons played Cleveland and beat sad Sam Jones. After that that the whole team came together and hugged, Biddy said it was a good feeling. What he thought felt best is they played in front of all of their fans and won. Bobby Robinson was mad though, because he didn’t get to play any games for the past 2 months. Bobby Robinson asked Piper why he didn’t get to play and Piper just said “you will play in the Baltimore Elite Giants game.”  Bobby was actually satisfied with that because his brother was the catcher for that team.

The Barons are going to play an amazing game against Cleveland but this time it was a doubleheader. Before the game Biddy went out on the field and caught a few balls. Biddy thought it was a good feeling also that the grass is really green there in Rockwood. Biddy hated that there wasn’t a big crowd but all their heart and spirit made up for it. The Barons won both games and Powell the pitcher for the Barons was pitching like an all-star those games.
